Best Practices for Virtual Events Across the Institution
In 2020, the world of higher education changed forever. While much has been written about the rapid transition to virtual learning, other departments – like recruitment, continuing education, and advancement and alumni relations – were also forced to make sudden adjustments. As in-person recruitment, alumni engagement, and professional development events were canceled or moved online, staff scrambled to pull off these changes with little guidance on best practices.

In light of these priorities and challenges, forward thinking leaders developed and executed comprehensive event technology strategies to unite their efforts. On this webinar, you will hear from professionals across recruitment, advancement and alumni relations. They will share how a comprehensive event technology strategy played an integral role in their transition to virtual events and how it is influencing their future plans to continue to engage a broader audience through hybrid events.

Key themes in the discussion will include:
• use cases for event technology and virtual events across recruitment, advancement and alumni relations
• considerations and decision criteria for event technology and virtual event platforms
• best practices for implementation, training and adoption of the new technology
• keeping the participant experience at the core
• outcomes and benefits of a total event management strategy

Whether you are new to event technology and virtual events or looking for additional best practices and lessons learned, this webcast is for you.
